As far as i am aware apart from special delivery which is tracked all the way or returned to the post office. For Normal track and trace it will only show dispatched and then delvered. If not delivered will be awaiting collection at Royal Mail by way of a card in your letterbox saying so. Because unlike Special delivery which is handled in another way to all other post some posties if knowing the person will scan themselves and put item through your door as delivered. With your case,its been scanned for dispatch but has not been scanned for delivery. Could be anyware but obviously not delivered but possibly you did not get the card in your letterbox saying where its being held,that being HT or possibly attempt to re-deliver Apart from Special Delivery,all other post goes through the chs like normal mail. Special delivery is done sepearate from normal mail and has to be collected and signed for by the postie in the sorting office prior to delivery and returned if not delivered which takes away the item being lost in the system with all the other mail. You pay a higher premium for that service
