Can anyone tell me how closing the Post Office every afternoon is going to stop the spread of the virus?? I just don't get it. Is it just another excuse for Royal Mail to do less work??

Its not and i dont think that is the idea. Possibly closes at 2 to protect the staff who are on the go non stop from 8am It closes at 2 and if you need to go to that post office go before 2. PS. Nothing to do with Royal Mail

...plus the sorting office is very understaffed at the moment and posties are off sick hence the erratic deliveries recently.
