https://ealingnewsextra.co.uk/latest-news/christmas-collections/Jon Next week it should be back to normal days. This week it is supposed to be running just one day later. It has been more complicated with Ealing than Hounslow but at least we didn't have the earlier in the week collection.

Still no one has removed our Christmas tree from the Bedford Park area - does anyone know when this is going to happen? First last Wednesday, then yesterday, then today, but nothing so far...

In the schedule on the Ealing Council website it says collection day for those who normally have a collection on a Tuesday (me, but I know in other parts of the borough their regular collection day is Monday) is Wednesday this week. Then back to normal next week

but despite clearly stating on their website that Christmas trees will be collected with your rubbish/recycling collection from 3rd January Ealing have failed to collect a single tree from our street for the past 2 rubbish collections, as ever utterly useless and uncontactable!

I had a email shortage of driversSorry about ur collection we will be pick it up Wednesday Confused
Anti council fake news sadly. I know a couple in Edmond Road and a family in Ramilies ... they did as Ealing CLEARLY set out by email and their web page and put their tree out on the Wednesday (rescheduled from Monday) on the black bin day and the trees were collected. My carer took me of a tour of Bedford Park and The Avenue today. Lots of trees put out too late for that collection date and now won’t be collected until the next Black bin day. Some are too big anyway. So...Stop whinging and take it to the park or pay for someone to take it. Presumably you paid for it to be delivered. Take some responsibility.
