Sainsbury’s Essex Place

All well there today with Marshall’s at the front doors.Distanced queuing through the middle of the market place. A long queue but it moved along quickly with a ten out, ten in basis. Masks provided for anyone who didn’t have one.Sanitisers inside and all staff wearing masks.A pity they couldn’t have done this the last time instead of forcing us to go all the way round to the car park and back!

Surprised to see organised queues again outside Sainsburys this morning as they seem to have given up anything like that Since the first lockdown in March.  Maybe pressure from above to be seen to 'tighten up' their precautions if they want to stay open. Nothing much changed inside the store, though.

I visited today about 11.30 at the front No queue,no marshals nothing, walked straight in as normal and they had no empty of anything Not sure what thats all about Rima. Maybe to many people are turning up early thinking eveything is going to be sold out.

I didn’t arrive until about 1.15 when I found a dropped freedom pass outside. No shortage of anything in there.Likely to be because there have been a lot of complaints on Nextdoor about lack of distancing etc with messages being sent to Head Office.

Same as Julian but at 10.30am. No problems.

I went to Sainsbury’s on Thursday morning around 9:30am.The store was virtually empty, the quietest I have seen it for a long time and no shortages apart from a few salad items.I do the ‘scan & go’ which is a brilliant way to shop.

The only time I've queued to buy food since May was on December 23rd. I see no reason for queues anywhere.

I think you are very fortunate.

I went today at 5pm I think it’s just timing as the queue was down past the market stalls to the road at the front , moved fairly quick but no trolleys available asked where they were was told all in the car park , went to get one was told I would have to queue again from car park side, so a kind member of staff went to find one for me 😊 apart from that glad to see more restrictions in place I felt safer 👍🏻
