NHS Vaccination SCAM!!
Just received this warniong from OWL - am showing it here for those not getting OWL warnings though pretty sure most people are savvy enough to be on their guard.Dear Watch Member,We knew it wouldn't be long!! But the scammers are already on the case. Please be aware that it you receive an email or a text etc. purporting to be from the NHS asking you to verify your address it is a SCAM. The messages I have seen ask you to verify your address by entering your bank account number, sort code and verious other details. Please be aware that the NHS or Government will NEVER ask for any financial details. You may receive a letter or a text informing you of an appointment to attend a vaccine centre or your GP. But they will never ask for any other details. If in doubt call your GP - but NEVER click a link or phone the number unless you are 100% sure it is your GP.If you need to reply regarding this message, tap on this email address: hanworthpark.snt@met.police.ukRegards,Simon Lawrence DWO Email: hanworthpark.snt@met.police.uk ________________________________________Police Contact Advice • Telephone 999 in an emergency where there is a danger to life or a crime is in progress.• Telephone 101 for non-emergencies where police attendance is required, to report a crime or to report any other incidents.• If you are calling about the above message, please tell us that you are responding to a message from OWL.
