Damp proof company

Need a reliable company any one recommendeThanks in Advance

This is a very complex problem, much depends on the type of building, old, new, in-between, single wall or cavity wall, with a cellar,  etc etc.    Should you make the wrong decision and spray or coat a wall, it could make the matter worse by preventing a building from "breathing".    This site might be of help  MyBuilder.com [info@mybuilder.com] unless someone on this Forum has the same type of building as yours and can recommend a company.  Good luck.

If the roof is OK where could the damp be coming from?  Leaking or blocked gutters and/or down-pipes - is there an attic above with a water tank with a slow leak or loose connection?  Alternatively, maybe re-pointing of brick work required.  Single or cavity walls?  Could be condensation, insufficient air circulating throughout the property frequently the cause of damp walls.  There must be someone on here who has a similar 1935 property who could help.

I'd get a general builder to have a look and fix the issue.  Could just be pointing needed.

Or loose lead flashing between roof and chimney stack?
