Dear Zoe,All this year I have been donating from my mother’s house, items to a small anonymous women’s refuge here in Chiswick. I am not going to identify them or their location but would be happy to collect from you and deliver to them. Basically, when a person is allocated accommodation it is often in a poor state without any of the things most of us take for granted.DM me if this is interested and we can then make contact.I have passed on many items which have been gratefully received such asSheets, etc. Some table cloths of various sizesTowels of all sizes, Bath mats, kitchen towelsfloor mats and rugsKitchen utensils such as cutlery, hand whisk, large spoons, potato masher, some reasonable condition kitchen knives.pots, pans, fry pans, Draining racks, dust pans , brushesChopping boardsCrockery, glasses, storage jars, etc.Clean plastics such as buckets, jugs etc.I have passed on a round kitchen table, bedside tables and the like.Electricals can be a problem given legal implications but are very much sort after such as lamps, microwave with its paperwork, kettles, toasters, etc.I am not prepared to pass on anything that is not washed, clean, damaged or nicely folded and not in good working orderThe charity has limited storage space and their acceptance is dictated on the need of an individual at a particular time.
