Police Stationed around Essex Place

Hi all - does anyone know what was going on last night on Essex Place? Lot's of police hiding around for what seemed like a good hour. At least 2 police cars and one van with police themselves on guard near the fencing of the development. It was around 6pm.CheersLiam

There seemed to be a substantial amount of flytipping at the far end of the Sainsbury's car park when I was there earlier today. Perhaps there is a connection.

I think the 'flytipping' at Sainsbury's may just be accumlated uncollected recycling. One suggestion for the police in Essex Place may be that a rave was being planned. There have been a number of examples in which unlicensed music events have been held in buildings which were undergoing conversion including in Putney just before Christmas and Empire House might have been a target venue.
