I think that Guardian article might benefit from some deeper analysis. The first priority is Care Home residents and their carers. Considering this virus is more lethal amongst such people than a fox in a henhouse, this seems fair enough to me. (Remember, Doctors will have been consulted in drawing up the Priority List)Meanwhile, "Frontline health and social care workers" are next in line, alongside the over-80's.(More here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/priority-groups-for-coronavirus-covid-19-vaccination-advice-from-the-jcvi-2-december-2020/priority-groups-for-coronavirus-covid-19-vaccination-advice-from-the-jcvi-2-december-2020 )Next, consider that there are over 300k doctors in the UK. Which means that 100k+ (37%) of doctors had already received the vaccine by the date of the survey (23rd or 24th December?).Whilst "doctors" only comprise a proportion (minority?) of "front line health and social care workers". Considering we were told that approx half a million vaccinations were administered in the first week(?), by the time you add up Care Home Residents and Workers, plus over-80's, plus every other front line H&SC worker etc, then 100k+ Doctors is possibly a very high figure.
