Dog owner hunt - picture on link below
This was posted on the Nextdoor app by a worried witness https://nextdoor.co.uk/p/nZ6zZdBKyrcJ?utm_source=share&init_source=copy_link_shareDog. Hi neighbours - I saw a man on Turnham Green (the park) yesterday (Sat 19th around 9am) outside the church whip his dog with a leash. There was a loud yelp from the dog and the dog looked terrified after. He carried on being angry with the dog as he put the dog's leash on and led the dog out of the park. Just before the incident the dog was happily playing with some other dogs (I do not remember the breeds). Did not dare approach this man at the time, but any advice what I should do next time / now? I have a photo of the dog (the man is bent over so you can't see him). I feel like the poor wee dog should be rescued from this abusive man - it deserves a better life away from this man who thinks it's his right to injure the poor thing. But I have no details of the man so reporting it is unlikely to be useful?? Some might think I'm being too nosy, but I feel awful for this dog.
