It is possible to ignore the idiotic posts of these fraudsters who knowingly promote false ideas and delusional claims. And certainly challenging them is futile - they never directly answer a challenge, they never provide a basis for their claims, they never have details, they constantly swerve & morph into further wild notions. And most of all they rely on the unprovable "how can you be certain that ....blah blah blah (insert idiot theory here)". They are also quick to the personal insult (further evidence of their lack of arguments).Worst, as Katya and others have pointed out, they are shameless in their upset. Like giggling schoolboys (they are always male) they dare each other to wilder notions without thought or respect. Worthy of calling out and damning - not just ignoring. The worry is that this mindset of conspiracies is spreading and growing. See anti-vaxx, see anti-mask, see Trump, QAnon, and all that utter pish. This rage of idiot theories will grow over the coming years. It is not going to grow because there is basis or substance for them, but simply because social media is allowing it all to grow unchecked. And because there are many attention deprived, balls not properly dropped, conscious free men-boys to sustain and grow it. (Note: that is not meant as insult, simply as an accurate description.)
