Hartington Rd

So I'm an idiot.  Driving home up the A316, on autopilot turned left into Hartington Road.  Didn't realise my mistake until too late. Been going that way for so many years, just did it without thinking. Does anyone know if the camera is up and running?  Has anyone done this and got a ticket?

with a bit of luck and Hounslow Councils usual prompt efficiency, quite likely the camera there is not working yet.  Fingers crossed for you.

If the cameras are in operation then Hounslow's  cash registers will be ringing a merry tune. I walked down Hartington the other day and there was a steady stream of vehicles coming from the A316 end. Certainly too many for them all to be on the white list.

Hard luck Liz - easily done early in the morning! Drivers are simply ignoring the signs, so Google thinks the road is open and Sat Nav is directing them to Kew Bridge the usual way. Google has been told, but the algorithm goes by what is happening so shows it as open. Apart from Liz I do hope that there is going to be fine money coming in to LBH as their coffers are going to be very depleted next year

So easy to do - especially as routine journeys are just that; new systems are hard to adjust to. When Turnham Green Terrace was closed we were told there was leniency for first time fines. If you are fined, do remember that Richard Jennings is our resident expert on appeals.  There is also the Chiswick Appeals site which provides advice (and has worked closely with Richard Jennings).Richard Jennings: parking@rjen.ukChiswick Appeals: https://www.chiswickappeal.com

Thanks very much for this.  Let's hope I don't need it.
