Boycott Hermes

Hermes reputaion is in tatters after workers were  seen to electroshock crocodiles then attempt to kill them by cutting into their necks and ramming metal rods down their spines. The animals shake vigorously as this happens. One crocodile's leg can be seen raising up after he was cut open.If you're not OK  with this then do please take action and sign the petition. https://secure.peta.org.uk/page/17623/action/1

I've  never had anything but on time and good delivery from Hermes. On one occasion they were meant to deliver better 1400 and 1600 hrs, they sent me a message saying it wouldn't be until 1800 and 2000 hours- and package was delivered within those hours.Do you want a company to go out of business and have even more unemployment  ?

Agree - this is revolting, however the chances of most of us ever aspiring to own anything from Hermes is highly unlikely, this needs to be directed at those who can afford their products I would think.

I must admit on first reading I thought oh dear how would they get the crocs in the van.  I have signed it.  It's not like they can't make cow leather look like crocodile if it's for the pattern but it's not.  It's a purely "look at me I have an Hermes bag,  I am a rich person.  I don't do labels unless it a bout quality in a well made item.  Someone bought me a Pierre Cardin purse for my 40th I am 59 now and it is still in use and looks like the day it was given.

Juliet, your post coincided with another thread on Hermes the delivery company on which I had previously commented. Sometimes, it’s useful to look at other threads on the forum as they might already cover the topic you wish to introduce or alert you to a potential misunderstanding when two companies share a similar name like Hermes and Hermès.
