"Richard: ... could you let the forum know the evidence on which you rely for stating the sign is wrong." Certainly, Justin. The published plans for Cycleway 9, both the original and the current 'temporary' version, show no entry to Duke Road from CHR and left turn only for traffic joining CHR from Duke Road. Consequently Bourne Place provides an entry into Duke Road for southbound traffic. I have been in touch with Mark Frost of LBH about ways to improve traffic flow at that junction, so I am confident that there is no Traffic Management Order that prevents a right turn into Duke Road from Bourne Place. Without such a TMO there is no legal basis for the sign. Also, the errant sign (Diagram 609 "Vehicular traffic must turn ahead in the direction indicated by the arrow") refers to a junction ahead, and would therefore not be appropriate at the very end of Bourne Place.
