Cucina / China Buffet / Hints / Mongolian Restaurant?

Hi all - I've recently moved above what was the China Buffet restaurant on Acton Lane opposite Sainsbury's and been doing some digging on was underneath us. Some incarnations i've heard are Cuccina, China Buffet, Hints, and a Mongolian Grill?! If you've got any info/photos that would be amazing! Many thanks

I remember it as a Chinese restaurant in the 90s originally (possibly called Zen) It’s had  quite a lot of makeovers over the years. I recall the Mongolian Barbecue, Cucina, the Chinese Buffet and a Greek phase (Daphné’s, I think) The food when it was a Greek place was quite good but gazing upon the mini roundabout wasn’t quite the same as looking out onto the Aegean.

Then I think it had another couple of incarnations before becoming the Mongolian barbecue.  Nothing has really worked on this site, although I seem to remember that Dino's was there a good few years.

I seem to remember it as an Italian restaurant in the late 70s. Not sure what it was called.

I remember going with my family when it was the China Buffet. The food wasn't great but it was cheap and there was plenty of it. Half the restaurant had been given over for karaoke to a group of middle aged Chinese men with much younger eastern European women in mini-skirts. It was a very strange evening.

I too remember it as an Italian restaurant.  I lived in a block of flats just around the corner and we went there often. I think it was quite upmarket at the time

Hints was wonderful, amazing food, lovely staff and cool design - not your average Chinese restaurant.

When it was a Chinese restaurant I remember the owner telling me nothing would work there due to the ridiculous amounts the landlords wanted.
