Towering masts on A316/Hartington Rd X-road
Hartington Rd - gracious, not been able to drive along there for several weeks but went today. Wow - first great excavations between Roko and the River, extending from A316 Chiswick Bridge to Ibis Lane, and including ISIS boat house. The new road well underway to exit opposite Roko entrance. Then just before traffic lights on the right several bags of rubbish dumped beside one of the lovely Chestnut trees. At the lights, on the left, not one but TWO towering great masts, one much fatter and taller that the other. Anyone know what they are for? Is it a launch pad for trips to Mars - more likely so the media can broadcast Worldwide all the commercial sports events that will take place under the new floodlights. Thank goodness I don't live in an expensive Chiswick Quay town house!
