parking permit renewal problems, again!

If Serco are unable to get a very simple residential parking permit system to work, no wonder track and trace is a complete disaster! Here is the enail address you need to inform Serco you are having difficulty renewing, HOUNSLOW.PERMITS@SERCO.COM but don't be surprised if they ask you to self isolate!!!!!

I rang Houslow this morning and the receptionist confirmed they were having issues with Serco. I managed to log into my account and when i go into renewal it does not recognise my log in.  Perhaps their system is now isolating!!!

I'm also having issues renewing my existing permit.I get the option to RENEW in my LBH account. However when it comes to payment I receive a very vague error message saying there is an error validating renewal request as the date range clashes with exclusivity on existing permits!I've emailed them a week ago but have heard nothing.

so i have now sent an email to Serco and no confirmation of receipt and my parking runs out, guess i will be looking forward to parking tickets, shambles. Are any of the Cllrs on here been made aware of this issue?

Rebecca, did you apply for a new permit or to renew a current permit? Was this done on-line as the renewal option does not work and hasn't done so for a week,

When I did it a few weeks back, it was like having to make a completely new application.  The heading said something like 'application and renewal' but there was nothing further about renewal.

I was renewing, nothing had changed, same car etc, etc.  Logged in to my account, all the car's details were on there, confirmed it was the same car, paid the money, that was that.

And yes, online, last Tuesday, 26th.  Had permit by Thursday 28th.

How very strange, changed password tried again and same problem can get into main account , login details don’t match🤬in the renewal section. Even tried it on apple and normal work PC and thus far no response from Serco. I guess they need to get revenues from elsewhere to compensate the TGT cash cow drying up for a few months, so let’s d create more hurdles to renew permits by a couple of weeks and nab a few tickets, good old Houndslow Council.

I had problems logging on. It would not recognise my password. Had to reset. But once reset all my details popped up.

right, if you are still having issues logging into the parking permit system, I found a way to speak to a human who did resolve the problem. Phone Howslow Council on 02085832000 ask to be put through to visitor parking dept and explain your issues. They took my reg number 10 minute wait, sorted, job done, good luck. The gentleman was incredibly helpful and confirmed they were having a lot of issues with permit renewals which the "big dogs" have known for some time, no surprises there, too busy designing new road layouts!
