Paul Campbell vs The Truth
Yesterday it was brought to my attention Paul now thinks I'm a prominent trader. Interesting given his numerous attempts here and elsewhere to paint me as the complete opposite. Also interesting was his taking something I said completely out of context and stated how my "suggestion was incorporated into a letter to the Council that was copied to all of the local Councillors." Odd. I never was asked. Nor did I sign anything. Surely I should have given my consent? After all, I'm now a prominent trader who wasn't asked to sign a letter akin to the one a film maker and dermatologist wrote on urban planning issues, something they are uniquely unqualified to comment on.Today Paul posted a lovely picture of a barren High Road saying something or other about cycling, peak school rush, and no traffic. The picture was taken outside of the police station looking west. West. When most schools are north, south and east. he took a photo aimed west. He posted at 8:40am.Odd.Surely the peak school rush is before 8:40. So I thought to myself of all the parents we've spoken to over all the years we've been prominent traders and I did a little Google. I simply love Google. In chronological order, here are the schools I could think of with their start times (arrivals would be earlier):8:00 - Orchard House8:00 - Falcons8:25 - Latymer 8:30 - Chiswick School8:30 - Kew8:30 - Harrodian (mind you, the bridge is closed)8:30 - Ravenscourt Prep8:30 - West London Free (staggered until 9:15)8:30 - Godolphin Latymer8:40 - PAUL TAKES HIS PICTURE LOOKING WEST8:45 - William Hogarth8:55 - St Peters9:00 - International9:00 - Belmont9:00 - St Pauls (again, bridge is closed)Also worth noting today's traffic in general was lighter than usual most likely down to our new Tier-2 status. And there were plenty of kids in street cloths today, not uniforms, suggesting half term has begun. At the very least, it wasn't the average school day.So I'll leave readers with the question: would you believe a prominent trader or would you believe one who fabricates the truth and misrepresents others without their consent to further his agenda?I've come to expect nothing less from Paul.I do, however, expect much more for all of Chiswick. I think we all deserve more from each other and certainly from Hounslow Cabinet. I haven't yet given up on the concept of proper, transparent representation and debate. Paul, on the other hand, just killed it.
