Radio call in

I will put the link up when it becomes available but this phone call on COVID and isolating from a lady called Gail in Brentwood on Ian Collins show on TakRadio is where we are going. And the rules need a good look at rather than the government giving guidelines and everyone just has to follow them. She has not seen in person of hugged her father since march. He tested positive and lives in a care home with his wife. He has many health issues and is in and out of hospital all the time. The crux is, every time he goes in and comes out of hospital he has to self isolate for two weeks because he once tested positive. She can't see her father and his wife also in the home cant see her husband, the daughter is in a right state of distress. Things will get worse, we can't keep going on like this. Another 6 months will push some people to the edge The answer can't simply be, Lock Them Up

My father was in intensive care in Tunisia a few years ago. I was allowed into his room (he was 95 and didn’t have Arabic or good French) but all the rooms had a corridor running behind with a sliding window for remoter visits. If a similar airlock system could be set up it would help. There couldn’t be an opening window, but just, perhaps, talking on the phone in that scenario would help because people could see one another.
