we're back to the same problem - a lockdown doesn't eradicate the issue. No matter what the country and whatever their approach pretty much the same pattern is being experienced across the world.I see New Zealand has now removed its lockdown, which probably means that, just like previously, in 6 weeks it'll be re-introducing its lockdown. Why the UK is so badly hit isn't clear cut - on Friday and Saturday night I watched thousands of spectators, the vast majority of whom weren't wearing masks, including the Polish PM, at the Speedway Grand Prix in Torun. Mr. Mrs was was in Czech Republic 2 weeks back and said no-one was social distancing or wearing masks. Yet whilst like all countries both of those countries are going through the same increase, if social distancing and masks made such a big difference then the level of infections in both countries would be noticeably higher to elsewhere, but it isn't. We just find it easy to point the finger of blame at pubs and students but FFS - there's pubs and students in every country and there has been significantly less precautions taken in numerous countries. As I've set from the outset, to me it should be one extreme or the other. Either a forced vaccination programme or a laissez-faire survival of the fittest approach, both extremes are harsh but everything in the middle is a total waste of time.
