Turnham Green Terrace PCN

Has anyone else received a ridiculous fine for driving along Turnham Green Terrace. The signage is woeful. I had no idea this was now in place and innocently drove down it as I have done for 15 years. No clear no entry signs and nothing on the road to suggest this was now illegal. Another example of poor council planning and implementation. I have challenged my PCN but interested if anyone else has done the same? Thank you Chiswick!James

just out of interest James from what date is your PCN? Reason i ask is i must have gone down at least 10 time the first few weeks when the signs were a joke. hope you win, good luck.

Thanks for your message, last Monday the 22nd September.

Richard Jennings is your man. Also you might want to check out what Ealing residents have done to challenge Low Traffic Neighbourhoods in their area. They claim the ETOs used are invalid because the law on publicising them has not been adhered to. Chances are Hounslow made the same error, if indeed there has been one.If you can provide a credible legal argument why the PCN might be invalid the council are not likely to let your appeal get to the adjudicator because if he or she rules in your favour then all PCNs issued would be invalid.

Welcome to the beginning of the ‘new world order’ of things. The day is near when you won’t be able to buy, sell, have medical, etc etc without a microchip inserted in your hand/arm. It’s coming sooner than we all think.

Last Monday was the 21st.  Good luck with the appeal.

As a precaution, avoid the flu jab.

All PCNs should be challenged. both a first stage and to go to court.  The signage is unclear.
