Next Mayor of London, Shaun Bailey?

Wonder whether Shaun Bailey will focus his campaign on the traffic mess? A clear ‘Get London Moving Again’ message, or words to that effect, might just win it for him. All the more so, as people are more concerned about the person than the party, when it comes to electing a mayor...There’s a lot of very unhappy people out there, who might just vote for a Tory candidate for the first time in their lives, if he did.

The only issue i have with Shaun and its his downside to winning. The answer is like showing someone peopleon the streets a photo of Ed Davey. Not many will have a clue who he is. Mind you,Ed Davey has no clue anyway.

I agree but the media just dont give him enough air time. Only  radio stations seem to do more like LBC and more so TalkRadio

If we speaks out enough about the waste of money on cycle lanes and London traffic coming to a standstill because of incompetent Local Authorities and TfL bosses, he will soon become known and he will be like Marmite!

Really disliked Shaun's latest idea on renaming tube stations through sponsorship to raise funds and judging from the reaction of social media not well received either.Does not look like a great choice this time around, pity Rory Stewart dropped out I was looking forward to seeing what ideas he was going to bring to the race.

Matthew, how would you suggest stanching the loss at TfL in order to sustain a network that serves the entire city?Correct me if I'm wrong, but the TfL bailout was aimed at keeping it functional through October was it not? No word yet on what comes after.Tick tock.
