Ok, it is true that many newspapers have a political angle and this feeds into what is reported and how such news is presented. And it’s also true that many of titles with smaller circulation and budgets have cut their reporting staff back so that they pretty much reprint what comes through the news feeds. And it’s true that major 9 titles (Sun, Sun on Sunday, Times, Sunday Times, Mail, Mail on Sunday, i, Metro) are owned by just two media billionaires. But to claim most newspapers present a left wing perspective is utterly wrong. Only the Record and the Guardian are left of centre. And circulation of both is well below most of their rivals.
