I drove west along CHR a day or two ago at the southern end of TGT.While I have little sympathy as regards receiving PCNs for those who were fully aware that restrictions were in place, I didn't feel the signage that you shouldn't turn right into TGT was that good, and moreover there was other signage/road markings that might lead you to forming the impression that turning right into TGT was allowed.Specifically:When you get to the traffic lights before turning right into TGT, there is a clear no left turn sign visible, but there isn't a no right turn sign present. The road markings present suggest that the left hand lane is for vehicles going straight on, while the right hand lane indicates that it is for vehicles turning right. If you have stopped at the lights, it's highly likely that the No Vehicle Access sign that is on the corner of CHR and TGT (near Snappy Snaps) is obscured by the Traffic Lights, so it is not immediately obvious (and I was looking to see how obvious it was!).It's true that once you start turning right the sign will be clearly visible, but presumably by that time you've already decided it's ok to turn right, and rather than concentrating on all the signage around you it's more prudent to concentrate on whether there are any pedestrians or other road users that you are going to collide with. The signage should make the restriction clear well before you attempt the manoeuvre, and I'm not at all convinced that it does. The signage may be better coming from other directions, but I feel it's still lacking and could be a lot better for people coming from the direction of Hammersmith.
