It has a (hopefully) minor problem with the power lever. If anyone knows someone who may be able to help it would be much appreciated.

The KitchenAid shop itself is rubbish for this. Over the years it has changed numerous times and is now down to finding a private service. Perhaps Janice can PM us with the info if that's what she has? Otherwise I can share our guy once I dig it up again.

Thanks for the replies. It seems all Kitchen Aid refurbs/repairs are now handled by Whirlpool who want to charge £100+ just to look at it. The Kenwood link seems to be more hopeful but the unit is so heavy goodness knows how much the postage would be. I am about to call the Acton Lane guys but any more suggestions would be welcome.

I sent my Kenwood Chef back and it was not that expensive when you balance out how much it costs to purchase a new one.Kenwood repairs before you dismiss it, get in touch with Kenwood and them follow the instructions.
Janice. Thanks for your help.I did and got this reply. "Due lack of parts on motor and electrical parts for KitchenAid we (are) unable accept repairs. You must contact KitchenAid directly" The contact they gave me was for Whirlpool who want £100+ just to look at it.Looks like it will have to be a new Mixer.
