Can anybody recommend someone who might be interested in restoring an old carriage clock that chimes on the hour please?

I've used the Clock Clinic in Putney, Lower Richmond Road and would recommend them but there may be someone closer to you.

Beware because not everywhere is recommended!

Small shop just a few doors from Goldhawk Road tube station on the Goldhawk Road (can't miss it). Old guy who really seems to know his stuff re old clocks and watches.

If you mean A J Roberts on the Goldhawk Road, sadly it has gone and been replaced by a video streaming service.

Oscar's at 44C Northfield Avenue, W13 9RRhttps://www.oscarstimerepairs.co.uk/I've used them for many years including the servicing of a 125-year-old carriage clock.

I suggest you ask Chiswick Auctions if they have any recommendations, also The Old Cinema.

The Clock Clinic in Putney has mended clocks for some one I know and were very pleased with the result.

Try the Clock Gallery in Pitshanger Lane Ealing. Very good and have repaired a 100-yr old clock which I took into them. https://www.allinlondon.co.uk/directory/watch-shops-repairs/191808-the-clock-gallery

What about Platinum Prestige on Chiswick Highroad. I think they do watch repairs etc.

Yes, there is a clock repairer in Brentford called A B Wright.

Another recommendation for the chap in Ealing. DM me if you want his mobile number. The Clock Clinic is good but SUPER expensive.
