Good builder recommendations please (small job)

Hi there - after having been disappointed on so many occasions by idiot builders who run off half way through the job or who seem to get bored toward the end I wondered if anybody could recommend an excellent builder, suitable for small jobs, door hanging, carpentry and so on.MUST have an eye for detail and take pride in their work!Many thanks!

I am watching with interest as I also need a builder for small but necessary jobs such as replacing hob extractor - the sizes have changed and some woodwork adjustments needed.  Leaking shower and it is coming from movement in the window where the tiles have moved.Plus other problems.

I am trying to find a number for really good carpenter for you.He worked for Company called Mike Barnett Ltd but the company has ceased trading. Which has happen to a lot of self employed trades.I used an odd job bloke about 3 weeks ago and he came from Bedford, I couldn't believe it
