Unsurprisingly, Covid 19 has resulted in a lot of enquiries recently from people with a lot more time on their hands to contemplate their own mortality. Many of whom had previously contacted me. C Philips, I did reach out to you in October to arrange an appointment. When you contacted me again in April, we were in lockdown with all the practical difficulties that that entailed. By then we were overwhelmed with work - which included, sadly, dealing with the estates of some clients who had succumbed to Covid. My professional bodies take a dim view of practitioners taking on more matters than can be efficiently dealt with, so it is likely Heritage Wills & Probate will not be taking on further matters for at least 2 months – though this will be kept under review. Existing clients can reach me as normal.
