How to dispose of helium gas canister

Hi very grateful for help.  I have two small empty helium canisters from  birthday balloons.  Have searched Ealing council website but cannot see how I can dispose of them.  Any ideas?  Bought from Argos who do not take back empties so that is not an option.  Thanks

That's odd. The only time I have bought a helium cylinder I had to leave a large deposit on it a bit like with a Calorgas container. It was a long time  and possibly things have  changed. The thing I'm thinking about was very hefty, a bit like a small fire-extinguisher - is yours like this or does it seem to be more of a disposable item? You could ask Partyplus in Acton Lane just by Sainsbury's car park.https://www.partyplus.co.uk/

You can use townmead rd site but need to book a slot now. They say they take gas canisters but to call before to check. 020 8876 3281
