Although agreeing with much of your post - I don't know about anyone else, but talk about mixed messages from government which is also opposite to the scientific advice they have always said they were following, but not now it seems? We have Hounslow council - among many - dashing around closing roads/making them access only for drivers, to apparently make way for all these pedestrians and cyclists, a dodgy mix as many will testify, when we are told it is safer to use cars rather than public transport. All that might seem fine until you consider the knock on effects of some of these restrictions on the surrounding roads and the consequent rise in pollution levels, because of the traffic being confined to fewer roads and backing up.As for the face mask saga how many varieties of advice has there been on that? If the government are so concerned about the economy and urging people to get back to their places of work why don't they concentrate on that instead of hurtling towards the much bigger threat of Brexit. What is more important? The nation's health and welfare and ongoing economic improvement or an ideological obsession? As they used to say - Confused? You will be.
