Recommendations for financial advisor

Can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced financial advisorI need some one off financial advice about cashing in a savings bond belonging to my father for his care. I need particular advice on chargeable events and top slicing relief. Thank you

You may be better off using a high street accountant (ICAEW or ACCA) with tax planning expertise.In my experience, financial advisors sometimes (often) have limited understanding of tax issues. Many (but not all) are primarily insurance and pensions salesmen.
