Abandoned boat - The River Rat
This evening my attention was drawn to a small blue-hulled outboard motor boat called The River Rat. It had been inexpertly tied to a lighting bollard on the Thames Path at Chiswick Quay, and as the tide was falling the ropes were coming under strain. Either the cleats, the bollard, or the ropes would have failed as the river fell further.I have taken the boat into the marina for safety. If you are aware who the owner is, please ask him or her to ring 020 8994 8743 after 09:00 tomorrow.
