Think this is a scam

Message supposed to be from Amazon to my partner, offering gift box to the person making certain number of hits on the site, one gift was an iPhone, they then ask himto pay £1 to be included we think to get his bank details so he just deleted the message. I have never receive such a message and think that is because I prefer to pay through PayPal so they would not get my details even if they ask me.  Has anyone else had this message.

Lots of scam emails around at the moment saying things like ' your email has been chosen by Netflix to receive an award...click on this link etc' - as I am not a Netflix subscriber, a bit of a giveaway.  Similar emails purporting to come from Amazon and other suppliers.

Yes. I got a message a couple of years ago saying that if I voted for Brexit the NHS would get an extra £350 thousand a week.It was an obvious scam, but it seems some people fell for it.

sorry you are still crying over Brexit.

Janice Evans ● 2306d

Yes, we'll ALL be crying come the end of this year when we crash out - which was always what the lunatics wanted. The economy is tanking, we will have millions of people unemployed, and we are going to leave the biggest trading sector in the world. This headlong rush to carry on with this farce is almost suicidal in it's breathtaking stupidity...........

O.K. Concerning Brexit, something really terrible happen, guess what that was, well they actually made up their own minds.

Janice Evans ● 2306d

Vanessa, I don't know why you even bother replying to her.

Janice one way to check if an email is a scam, just press forward then check the URL, the address it is coming from it will become obvious it is bogus, then delete and delete out of the trash as well.

Thanks Jayne, that one was to my partner, he did delete it, if it happens again will tell him to do that.
