Boris Johnson has said: "...they still believe there is no risk of a second wave". The 2 metre social distancing rule will be changed from July 4th to 1 metre, but where possible, keep 2 metres apart, but will be reduced to 1 metre plus where not possible". 2 households can meet indoors or outside, but no more than 2 households can meet - except outdoors like in parks - these do not have to be the same 2 households, children can meet 1 set of grandparents one week, and the other set the following week. If one is aware of more than 2 households meeting up, is it my civic duty to dial 999, and drop them in it? Suppose I don't have a tape measure in order to keep a strict check on my social distancing habits, or other people ignore them, and I end up being just shy of 39 inches from somebody, am I likely to end up in casualty? I am really amazed at the number of people who are so ignorant of the facts, that they simply accept everything at face value. The WHO have said that there is no specific evidence to suggest that the wearing of masks by the mass population has any potential benefit, and if the mask is not worn correctly, then there is no benefit. Professor Chris Whitty, England's Chief Medical Officer, said that "wearing masks would do next to nothing to combat the outbreak or reduce the wearer's risk of contracting Covid-19. After all, these disgusting, soggy masks have a nasty habit of trapping the virus, and is not a good idea, and could put the wearer at risk of contracting covid-19, according to Dr Jenny Harries, a Deputy Chief Medical Officer. And another DCMO, the well respected Professor Jonathan Van-Tam, said that healthy people wearing masks would not reduce the spread. If it is so important to wear one of these muzzles in shops, why is it not necessary to wear one in a pub? Politics comes into the equation I would guess. I doubt if BJ would be keen on upsetting on the hospitality industry. So who's wearing a mask and why?
