Bus Lane Hours Changed - Be aware!

Hi All,The section of bus lane opposite waitrose is now 24/7.If you’re used to parking there after 7pm, don’t!You might get fined for driving in the bus lane and then get another fine for parking your car making it a very expensive shopping trip.

Why have they done this??? They did this a few years back and it started creating traffic jams including for Buses in the area...yes in the evenings.  Very much.  Because amongst other things, they are prone to shut the A4/M4 for works at this time.  Try getting East to West after dark and it doesn't work

Yesterday the Hounslow Handyperson van (as it was branded) went up and down CHR changing loading and stopping restrictions as well as bus lane hours as already mentioned. Also beware the bus lane leading to Goldhawk Road is now 7am to 7pm so those who might be used to undertaking to turn left can no longer do so during the day. Businesses were not made aware of these changes and many only have curbside access for loading and deliveries. So I find it most curious Guy Lambert has said this on another post:"Another option would be time restrictions (EG totally closed except for loading windows). In my view that would be negative for traders."And yet the new rules do precisely that. I much prefer leaders to put their money where their mouths are as opposed to talking out of both sides of their pie holes.
