Volunteering

Obviously, at the present time, many businesses and organisations are closed but the only facility showing under Volunteering is the Volunteer Centre which has, in fact, closed.  Could we have a section advertising volunteering opportunities in this area please

You could email the editor at:  editor@chiswickW4.com to make the suggestion. I'm not sure how much traffic that section of the website gets though worth a try.

I totally get what you mean Eve.There are the big portals but they are all Covid based at the moment. It would be good to see local volunteering opportunities here. Things get mentioned in the forum from time to time, but if you don't read it the obvious place to look is under volunteers. It doesn't help that you might be in Ealing,Hounslow or LBHF and some of the opportunities to volunteer are arcane. Is there a type of volunteering that interests you in particular ?

www.do-it.org allows you to search for volunteering opportunities by postcode and  select your search radius

Hi Tessa,Office based admin/coordinator etc.  Many years of experience and good at what I do.  Not finding fulfilment  working from home and not having a car, this role is ideal but of course, difficult to find.
