Please wear a mask

There are many vulnerable people out there. I noticed hardly anyone wearing masks today. This virus has not disappeared.

I think we'd all agree that distancing in the queue and at tills in Sains is good, but inside it's a bit of a free for all. That's natural. I'm ok with that, but I find it a bit insulting that Ive taken to wearing a mask in order to stop me inadvertently spreading the virus (I know it doesn't protect me) but 90% of others in Sains cant be arsed.

Confirms my view that at the moment I am going to avoid public transport and shopping (apart from picking up prescription items - in fact going out at all apart from exercising in local parks.  Luckily I have worked from home for a long time so that's not a problem. Many people now seem to think life is pretty much as normal.  I think it's too soon to believe that.

SW > "I noticed hardly anyone wearing masks today."I'd say, generously, maybe 10-20% in Sainsbury's today. About the same as last week. But, a good proportion of those 'wearing' masks had them pulled down under their chins. It seems "good, solid British common sense" is not all it's cracked up to be.
