Ultralux windows/doors

Hi.  Has anyone used Ultralux and could recommend? Especially for patio doors please. Thanks.

My daughter used them for window replacements some years ago and the job was OK. I used them for a large conservatory roof replacement and had massive problems and would never use them again. I had the roof replaced later again by another company! I suspect that they are fine for simple double glazed windows but that's it

I asked them to quote for windows and patio doors, which would of meant having some building work done to accommodate the doors. But the member of staff who attended tried to talk me into having a new window and one door instead of patio doors.Basically that person didn't really wont to do what I wanted, so i went else where to get the job done.I cannot comment on what their work is like as they didn't get the job.

Our experience was entirely different, we had a new front door and side panel, and rear french doors also with a half side panel either side and cat flap in one, and the workmanship was excellent!

I have used them twice and they were very good.  I was going to use them for a third job, but the estimate appeared very expensive.

I happily and successfully used them about 4 years ago for my garden door, three large panels with the only the centre one sliding, their price was very competitive. They also had to come back to replace the ‘door’ glass when the outer layer was smashed by a strimmer accident. Both the installation and repair were excellent and carried out promptly by a lovely team with absolutely no mess. I’ve nothing negative to add.
