"Used the blockers no success"Perhaps try the unblockers?Joking apart, had the same problem, no the unblockers didn't work. Right in the middle of serious lockdown so no plumbers. Peter Earles is the plumber of choice. However, as you've more than one problem at the same time, it might be something to do with the drains/soil pipe etc. I guess it depends what floor the problems are on etc. I'd call Peter as a starting point personally, but if it is the latter, you may be into dyno rod territory.

Washing soda crystals from Sainsburys to dissolve any grease.If still blocked use Buffalo Maxi plunger. I got mine from Leyland in CHR and it’s brilliant for toilets too.Takes a few  minutes. I’ve been using them both for years and they’ve never failed.

Have you tried something like One Shot - a very powerful chemical mix - not cheap but it works? The fact that it is both outlets is a bit mysterious although I suppose they meet somewhere down the line. One Shot is definitely worth a 'shot' although it's not exactly cheap (I think about £10.00).

Why would you want to use nasty chemicals if a spoonful of washing soda works and a good plunger will last for a lifetime?

Have always use vinegar regularly and alternate with bleach, neverhave problems of blockage.  Soda crystals are good as Rima said, some shops not selling them now.

I second Will Watson's suggestion. I got one in Robert Dyas. Very effective.

I have had the same problem and I also failed with unblockers and plungers.  I have also tried soda crystals without success but caustic soda did do the trick however that was a couple of years ago and shop  I must admit I need to have another go at it now.

From what I've read, soda crystals are a good preventative measure regarding blocked drains. However, how powerful are they for a heavy-duty blockage? Obviously prevention is better than cure but occasionally 'it' just happens.(Just in case anybody is confused - soda crystals are not the same as caustic soda.)

Aha - I'm glad One Shot did it for you. I think there are times when something like soda crystals would just not cut it, more's the pity.

Good that One Shot worked. Cheaper than a plumber but good to keep a packet of soda crystals handy as it can be used for all sorts too as seen on experthometips.com without any chemicals going into the sewers, rivers and oceans.Also maxi plunger if it’s really stubborn or a toilet.
