Food preservatives

Has anyone noticed fruit and veg lasting far longer than before the virus? Are the food manufacturers and processors adding extra preservatives to better manage food waste? Is the effect of extra preservatives, if that's what it is, good? I have strawberries best before May23rd almost all in perfect condition, grapes bought on or before 18thMay ALL still in pristine condition.

Maybe for some reason they are getting to you faster.  Isn't food being rediverted to the shops and to home delivery because the restaurants are closed?
