Should Have Gone to Specsavers

This is a book I picked out of a 'take me' box on somebody's wall:The Carnivorous CarnivalA Series of Unfortunate Events   by Lemony SnicketNo guessing as to how I first read the title.Should have gone to Specsavers!Rather timely though ... And just how do you get a name like Lemony Snicket?

Misreadings/hearingsMy sister, a respiratory nurse specialist and allowed to wear mufti, introduced herself to a patient on a ward as such once who declined her offer of help. In the end he said he didn't wish to offend but he just wasn't a believer - it turned out he thought she had said that she was from the spiritualist church.

If you enjoy The Carnivorous Carnival there are another 12 in the series.  You could wait  for Oxfam Books to re-open, as we often have the early ones in stock.

Thanks. I'm actually not much of a reader of fiction although will no doubt work my way through this book and you never know ... However, is it suitable reading for a vegetarian?!?
