OK, Jim, this isn't my area of expertise (a disclaimer which seems to have become fashionable in recent days — I can't imagine why), but I did a bit of research before buying a mask. Save your FFP3 for situations where you really need it for your personal protection (e.g. in a confined space where social distancing is difficult). The 3m model you have is theoretically not reuseable, although I guess, if you're just using it for a bit of shopping in the old buggers' hour, you may be able to use it a few times. You can't sanitise these masks either — if you wash them or spray sanitiser on them, you destroy their effectiveness.
Otherwise just use an ordinary fabric mask. It will serve to reduce your risk of copping Covid-19 by only around 25/30%. However, in case you cough (or shout at someone!), it will serve to protect those around you. And of course you can wash and reuse the fabric mask.
