Hi I used to work in Chiswick and can remember when you were called La Mirage I think quite a few years back now

It's in a different building now, Barbara.  La Mirage was in a 1960s block at 309 CHR. It's owner Mr Hassan opened The Catch (fish & chips) at 293 CHR, next to Chiswick Hardware.  He then closed La Mirage around 2008 and reopened it after a refurb as Rice "House of Kebab and Wrap", later "Persian Kitchen".The 1960s block was emptied and demolished for redevelopment a year or two ago, but Rice moved down to 293 to share the building with The Catch, both very good in my experience.

Thank you for that information Richard, very interesting. I used to work at the IAM building which was a Redex garage before I think then we moved over to the other side of the road near an airline company and our CEO used to go to La Mirage for lunch most days of the week and we had our annual Xmas party there too. The building sadly now is an apartment block as they moved out of town.
