New signs erected on LB Hounslow's parks

Yes with UK the highest Covid 19 deaths in Europe, these parks need stringent policing not little signs 'advising' the public. Hounslow is seriously bad for social distancing. The people ignore advice or are too thick to understand it. How about some fines in Hounslow Borough please?

Jan, its already ignored, my neighbour was walking his dog by the promenade yesterday evening and came across a group of people sitting down laughing and drinking right in front of one of the new large signs.

I wish they'd put similar signs up in Chiswick Park, people picnicking there most days.

It seems so churlish to disrupt what looks like innocent fun in the sun.  However the sinister truth that needs to be addressed is the ease at which this fearsome Covid19 disease spreads.  May not harm many youngsters but it can be DEADLY for those highly vulnerable folk with underlying medical problems.  It is very selfish to ignore the apparently draconian rules of isolation and keeping apart until a safe vaccine can be found.

Empty vodka bottles, drink cans, plastic and paper bags left strewn over Southfield Playing Fields this evening.  Not helped by this fool https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-8281007/Former-Supreme-Court-judge-LORD-SUMPTION-gives-withering-critique-Governments-lockdown.htmlGod help us when, despite no real sign of an improvement in the number of deaths, good old Boris starts lifting the lockdown from Monday.  I certainly won't be changing current habits for a long time (apart from maybe taking dogs out twice instead of once a day).
