Smeg Cooker Engineer.

Anyone know a good local engineer to repair a SMEG cooker? I have no idea if this is the sort of thing that is allowed under lockdown but it certainly feels like an emergency now that the oven is dead! I imagine as the lockdown carries on thsi sort of thing is going to happen more and more.

my advice, buy a new cooker. Mrs SJ splashed out on a fancy one about 4 years ago and from day one just did not seem right. think the engineer came out every other month and on the 14th month when food was being cooked more on one side than the other we were told it was irreparable and out of warranty!!! They did offer us a 10% discount on a new replacement which was never used.

This cooker has been a family member since the early 90's and apart from this electronics issue has been great. I reckon it has another 20 years to go.

If its 30 years old, it may not be that efficient and not great for the environment. However, i'm sure no cooker is an emergency. Try Azam, he did a good job/prompt etc on our washing machine and also does ovens i believe.
