Watching

Given the amount of repeats on at the moment, and you fancy something a little different and if you have Netflix can I mention 'Unorthodox' as a good watch. It's in Yiddish with subtitles and some English as well, well worth a view.Thought 'Killing Eve' started with a bang last night, sort of lost the plot a bit in the last series, so hope this starts to gel.

It’s really good, isn’t it? There is an additional episode on the making of the programme which was mostly made in Berlin. It was an insight into a very different world for me.

Yes, we enjoyed the first episode of Killing Eve.  Villanelle’s wedding and scenes of Eve working in the kitchen were high spots.  A bit like meeting up with old friends!  On Netflix we are watching ‘Unbelievable’.  It’s an American ‘tough female cops hunt serial rapist’ drama. On terrestrial, Devs is quite fun.

Even though you have to settle down for a few hours the Irishman is a great film to watch on Netflix

I am enjoying Unorthodox too.  I think that if you enjoyed Unorthodox, you would probably enjoy  Shtisel, which is also on Netflix.  Shira Haas, who plays the lead in Unorthodox, is in this as well.

'sort of lost the plot a bit in the last series' I agree with you on that, Vanessa. The thing is, 'Killing Eve' is done with such style and black humour, and the main characters are so riveting that I can sail through the bits I don't quite follow without worrying about it.

As someone who doesn't watch 'Killing Eve', but whose other half seems to spend hours binge-watching it, is there any sign of them finally bumping her* off?* - Eve, that is, not my other half. Though if it doesn't end soon, I may not be held responsible for my actions...

We’ll have to keep an eye on your patio, obviously!

Started watching 'Unbelievable' on Netflix - it is really gripping - based on a true story, highly recommended, another one for the Lockdown list!

We have just watched the third episode.  Toni Collette is terrific as usual as is Elizabeth Marvel, the former POTUS in Homeland.  Gripping stuff. We are also enjoying Quiz.  Saw the stage version a few years back.
