Don't worry - we have seen them too, a few weeks ago!Elon Musk cluttering up the skies, that is all. My husband stood and watched with me as about 20 went overhead.. and since my husband saw them I knew I was not imagining things!Mr Musk's SpaceX business has been launching the satellites in batches of 60 since last May, with a total of 300 having been fired into the sky so far. However, the numbers are expected to ramp up rapidly. The company has US approval to launch 12,000 satellites, and is hoping to do so by the mid-2020s. Last year, it filed paperwork to launch an extra 30,000 Starlink satellites. The plan is ultimately to create an orbiting network which can provide global internet coverage.
