Well done, but we shouldn't be relying on feats of heroism to provide support for our health service, when forward thinking and proper investment would have been preferable. The government has been telling us every day for weeks now that they're 'ramping up' the provision of kit, and it's 'on its way', and it's being delivered 'as we speak', yet we now know a lot of the stuff isn't even in the country. I have to say that the way Chinese industry is now benefitting from the increased demand for PPE and testing kit does rather feed into certain conspiracy theories, particularly when some of the Chinese kit doesn't work when we get it here.
