Sad sight of white cat Fielding Road

Good morning. I was out for my daily walk yesterday and spotted a white cat, looks like it had been hit by a car. It’s pure white, looked well cared for. I hadn’t seen any posts here of missing cat, but thought I should post in case someone is worrying

There is a gorgeous white cat who belongs to Vihara temple on the Avenue please pray it’s OK. If it was hit by a car how could anyone just drive off!

It's always so distressing to see someone's much-loved pet in such circumstances.I remember my dog Susie (who Steve Trembath knows well - hope  you're OK, Steve, and Susie  sends her love) recognising a big  ginger tom, which uused to visit our garden just to drive the dog nuts and so was on her list of" Cats To Kill When I Get My Hands On Them", lying freshly dead in the gutter round the corner from us. She sat beside her old enemy and whimpered in sorrow.It was heartbreaking.

That brought a lump to my throat, Roger. I'm so sorry to learn of this cat's sad demise. How awful for the owners. Poor puss.

Ginger tom. The reason unneutered toms are so hated is because they spray foul smelling urine and attack other cats. They are relentlessly  persecuted through no fault of their own. Their owners are too lazy to get them neutered, its just a 10 min procedure. Next time you see an unneutered tom either get it neutered or contact me, i can get it done for free. Had the ginger been castrated it wouldn't have roamed and would never ended up dead in the road. Tell THAT to the woman who wanted it dead, blame the owner and not the cat!!!!

Thanks Gail, lol!😃 That's a relief, though unfortunately its true of many 'people' who hate them just as vehemently as Susie. I never miss an opportunity to educate on how important neuteting is.

I hope its not the white cat from the Vihara Centre, he's a much loved cat. He was an unneutered stray and i had him castrated so have a personal interest.
