I see that the UK has entered another 938 COVID-19 deaths on Weds 8th April compared to 333 entered by Germany. Let’s look at the total stats for these two countries to date:Germany - Total Cases: 113,296 Total Deaths: 2,349 (2%) UK - Total Cases: 60,733 Total Deaths: 7,097 (11.6%)Is our NHS really what it’s cracked up to be or is something else going on? Only Italy’s figures are worse at 12.6%. We’re being told that we’re cared so much about that we need to be locked up for our own good. We’re also being told that bus drivers are dying of COVID-19. If so, surely bus drivers need to be taken off the roads. The same goes with supermarket staff who must be equally at risk, as must be shoppers who visit the stores; so why haven’t these people been relieved of duty and the army called in to deliver us food parcels? Why is there no care for off licence staff? Why are teams of 5G installers not cared about? You can’t sit in the middle of a field on your own but all of these other things that do pose risks are allowed to continue. Why? The answer is simple – they don’t care about any of us; the lockdown is in place purely to ‘fit in’ with the enforced shutdown of businesses – there’s no other way of doing it; therefore, the reasons given for our house arrest has absolutely nothing to do with health and safety, and everything to do with the destruction of the economy, which the government shows no concern for whatsoever. How long will the lockdown last? We, the general public don’t know, but I suspect that the government has known from the beginning, and is just playing this out. They’re threatening increased restrictions, but I’m not sure that they will bring these in; not too soon anyway, as this could backfire due to public restlessness and the affects over too long a period; so if they do, I think it will likely be close to the ‘half way’ point of their already determined lockdown period, in order to give a feeling of an incremental rise, which allows the government to then provide a similar incremental exit term, which will likely be more acceptable to the public thus providing the government with the required time to destroy the economy. Whatever the lockdown term is, the exit will be made to appear to match declining coronavirus cases, but I believe they can control these numbers however they wish. Even if we get to zero cases, an outbreak of COVID-19, or the perception of, will likely always be an option.
